missed something from Lazarus Rising - the girls call Sam's powers "barf-a-demon." *hee*! ("Who needs Exorcisms when you can have "Barf-a-Demon?" <-- that's what J's saying now)

Are You There God, It's Me, Dean Winchester, In The Beginning, Metamorphosis

the girls were a little confused at first at seeing Henrickson and Meg in the "select a scene" menu for Are You There God, It's Me, Dean Winchester, but i didn't say anything and just let them watch the episode.

when we met young!Mary and her parents in In The Beginning, the girls seemed to think that Dean and Sam were named after their grandparents, Deana and Samuel Campbell. yes, i think Sam was named for his grandfather, but i still think that Mary named her first-born after the time-traveler she met in 1973.

and then when it ended with "To Be Continued," there were cries for more! and i did warn them that Metamorphosis kinda went back to the "horror movie of the week," but they still watched it. (some parts through fingers, of course.)

know what the problem with watching Lazarus Rising AFTER you've seen S5? you already KNOW who pulled Dean from Hell!

and really? it should have been Sam. from what i know, simply: Lazarus was like a brother to Jesus, and Jesus brought Lazarus back from the dead. Dean IS Sam's brother, so Sam should have brought Dean back from the dead.

also - Sam didn't give Dean the Hunters' Funeral that Bobby wanted to give Dean, because he WAS planning on learning how to bring Dean back. i would have liked to have seen that.

the girls giggled at the iPod dock, knew Genevieve was Ruby, not Kathy Kristy, and ewwwed when Pam's eyes got burned out.

it's hard to explain that in the world of Supernatural, to Dean and the demons, the angels are just stories, and God is a fairy tale - i think it's why the demons and Ruby didn't even speculate about an angel. plus, it was a better reveal to the (unspoiled) audience.

and as much of a plot device Castiel turned out to be, the scene where he reveals his wings is always cool.

Soo Christmas was okay wasn't the best or the worst but hey at least I got to celebrate it with family. Only thing I don't care all that much about my birthday though is that it is in December and is 4 days after Xmas.

*Shrugs shoulders* Oh well can't be helped I guess. Hope everyone else is having a good Holidays!! I'll probably post a much longer post tomorrow or something and drabble on random stuff.

so i've been thinking about this with the girls, and here's what i've got:

the Apocolypse is over, the Angels and Demons are gone, no need to ride off into the sunset to the next job (which is how i want the show to really end, btw) - so they buy two houses with a shared driveway (for the car, of course!) and get married. who do they marry?

the girls can be anyone from canon, fanon, crossovers, or an OFC (for an OFC, i'll need just a little piece of information.) even if you think i know your pairing, i might not! also, any inappropriate answers will be deleted.

my choices are:

♥Sam & Elizabeth*

*Elizabeth is my OFC from my Maya'verse. she's a little out of place with canon!Sam, but it'll work.

Long Distance Call, Time Is on My Side, No Rest for the Wicked

the girls were kinda creeped out by Long Distance Call...M didn't like the creepy guy pretending to be Dad, and J thought Sam could have done a better job with identifying who the crocotta really was. she still hates when the brothers fight (like her and M....)

Time Is on My Side was all ewwwwie too.... most of the dr's scenes they watched through fingers. J knew the recipe for immortality couldn't be good... at the end, they (and me) didn't like Bela dying either. J asked about Bela's fate, i said the fandom didn't like Bela, and that was how Eric wrote her out. the girls didn't like that, either.

No Rest for the Wicked - i kept asking if they were sure that they wanted to watch it - J knew it ended with Dean going to Hell. of course, they weren't actually watching Dean get attacked by the Hellhounds... also, J suspected when Sam was about to kill the little girl, she wasn't Lillith anymore... and then guessed Lillith was in Ruby...

i did show them the pics from behind the scenes with Dean and the green-screen to show them how it was kinda put together.

we'll start S4 Monday or Tuesday, depending on what goes on.

Jus In Bello and Ghostfacers

when Henrickson first showed up, both girls were hoping he'd DIE. as the episode progressed, and it was revealed that Henrickson was possessed and the demon was exorcised, and now Henrickson finally believes Dean and Sam.... well, now he's pretty cool!

and then when the little girl came into the station, i paused it and asked if either girl knew who she was. i was going for "young DG" in "Tin Man," but J said "Lillith!" *hee*

we also watched the "Closer Look" for Jus in Bello - and learned it's SERA's fault for the creepy kids! ;)

we started Ghostfacers, and J didn't really like it - it was a weird beginning... and then when Dean and Sam showed up, she said she liked it much better! we watched the Confessions at the end. it was kinda... long.

Malleus Maleficarum and Dream a little Dream

J still isn't a fan of all the blood, ewww.....

but later, when they're pretending to be Ruby and Meg, i hear J ask "Meg, do you remember what it's like to be human?" so... they're watching and paying attention and incorporating into their playing. and the firefoxes are still hellhounds. hee.
